The Alliance of Technology and Women began as a national organization with chapters in several locations throughout the
United States. In late 2008 the organization restructured in response to industry changes. Some chapters joined other
technology groups and other chapters formed independent organizations. The Phoenix chapter formed an independent organization
and retained the ATW name. The Alliance of Technology and Women has been active in Phoenix since
2002. We have approximately 60 members who represent a diverse range of technology careers and have formed partnerships with many local businesses.

Programs
Through a menu of carefully created and expertly managed programs, Alliance of Technology and Women will change the future. With focused efforts we facilitate introductions to
technology and fund opportunities for hands-on experiences.
Through regular Events, Alliance of Technology and Women provides a forum rich in industry education, along with the opportunity
to meet and connect with members and their guests.
With the Mentor Program, we match applicants with executive-level mentors for specifically designed
and individually prescribed mentor/mentee relationships.
Alliance of Technology and Women awards undergraduate scholarships for scholastic tuition to women seeking an Associate or Bachelor's degree in math, science, computer science,
engineering, or other technology fields. Through these scholarships, Alliance of
Technology and Women provides financial assistance to help women pursue technology-related
academic and professional goals.
Alliance of Technology and Women's programs, scholarships, and exclusive member benefits aim for results: an increased percentage of young women
pursuing technology careers, and a significantly larger pool of successful women in technical organizations.
